When we were contacted by Stephanie Pelletier, Executive Director of the Historic 1896 Lounsbury House at the Ridgefield Community Center, to work on "a few design projects" we were excited and intrigued. We had done our research and we knew that this was a home with a lot of history, a very well respected non-profit organization and a sought after venue for weddings. Our task was to position The Lounsbury House as a Business-to-Business destination. Conveniently located in Fairfield County, CT, it could serve as the perfect setting for a wide range of off-site meetings for many corporations -- large and small -- that are headquartered in that region. Working with a very small budget, we concepted and designed an over- sized postcard mailer that beautifully showcased the property, detailed their important features and could be sent out economically and efficiently. The Lounsbury House is putting themselves on the map in the motion picture business, too, by becoming a sought after location for scouts. The House was recently included in a scene for the new Disney release, "College Road Trip" with Martin Lawrence. We are happy to see The Lounsbury House continue to "make history" with memorable events both off-screen and on.
