When one thinks of wire, you may think of the utilitarian steel that is tough and mechanical in nature. And you wouldn't be wrong. But who would have thought that wire could be. . beautiful? Well, the folks at Wire By Design did and decided to take their concept to the next level by offering their custom wire mesh designs to architects, interior designers and general contractors to implement in a wide range of commercial and private projects.
Their challenge was to create marketing pieces, on a start-up budget, that reflected their unique point of differentiation for this concept and appeal to the design sensibilities of architects and designers. Their original sell sheets did not reflect a high-end design concept that would catch the eye of these prospects. So, they turned to Orbit Creative to design a logomark, tag line - "You create it, we'll make it", branding brochure and web site that could serve as a way to showcase their portfolio of international work projects, as well as some of their custom mesh products.
The results have been nothing short of phenomenal. Not only do their installations range from private residences, hotels and upscale restaurants, to the corporate offices of Electronic Arts, but some very visible public spaces, too, like JFK International and Baltimore Washington airports. It's exciting to have the opportunity to work with small and start-up businesses, such as Wire By Design, that strive to offer new perspectives on old standards, that result in the creation of new businesses that prosper.
